Where is my data stored?

All your data is stored locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded to any server. If you uninstall the app, your data is permanently deleted. Use the Backup feature (PRO) to save a copy.

How do I transfer data to a new phone?

Use Backup & Restore in Settings (PRO feature). Create a backup on your old phone, share the file to your new phone, then restore it in DocDue.

Can I change the language?

Yes. Go to Settings and switch between Romanian and English at any time.

How do notifications work?

DocDue sends local reminders before your documents expire. You can customize which days to be notified (e.g., 30 days, 7 days, 1 day before). Notifications are generated on your device — no internet required.

What does PRO include?

Free: up to 10 documents with full features. PRO (one-time purchase): unlimited documents, financial analytics, backup/restore, and Excel export/import.

How do I restore a purchase?

Go to the Premium screen and tap "Restore Purchases". Your PRO status will be restored if you have a previous purchase.

The OCR/camera scan isn't working

OCR text recognition works fully on-device — no internet required. Make sure you have good lighting and hold the camera steady over the document. If OCR is not available, you can always enter document details manually.
